Coach John Williford

John Williford is beginning his first year with Bradwell Institute but has coached for over 26 years.  Coach Williford earned his bachelor’s degree in physical education from the University of South Alabama in Mobile, AL.  Prior to teaching in Alabama, Coach Williford was a part of the Department of Defense schools by way of the Panama Canal Zone. After 10 years of teaching and coaching throughout Alabama, John continued his teaching and coaching career throughout Georgia including Polk School District, Jeff Davis County Schools, Mitchell County Schools and Bibb County School District. 

Coach Williford is a physical education teacher at Bradwell Institute and serves as the Offensive Coordinator and quarterbacks’ coach. He has guided offensive players to reach #1 in 1A and 4AAAA football as well as coached the top offensive player in 1A. He also coached the #2 player in the entire state of Georgia.

John is married to Christi, an assistant principal at Miller Magnet Middle School. They have two children, Alex (Kamryn) and Saralyn (Chase). They also have two grandchildren, Jackson and Nolan.  

The Williford family enjoys worshipping together, attending sporting events, and spending time outdoors cooking out. We are proud to be a part of the BI family. Go Tigers!
