Eric Rand, a native of Hinesville, Georgia, who grew up in Jacksonville, Florida boasts an impressive athletic and coaching resume. Graduating from Oakleaf High School, Rand excelled as a three-year letterman in football and weightlifting winning the last Strength and Conditioning Iron Man Award in program history in 2016. Notably, he was part of the winningest class in school history, going 33-6 over three years, including the schools first district championship and perfect regular season in school history in 2014. He is also the first district champion in weightlifting in Oakleaf history.
Transitioning to collegiate sports, Rand briefly played football at Webber International University in Babson Park, Florida before completing his Bachelor of Arts in History at the University of North Florida.
Coach Rand's coaching journey began in Florida, where he spent three years coaching at the Ridgeview and Orange Park High School. During his tenure as Offensive Line Coach and Run Game Coordinator Rand played a pivotal role in guiding Orange Park to its first District Championship game and its first playoff win in over 10 years. He then joined the coaching staff at nationally ranked Colquitt County High School as a defensive assistant before making a transition to Bradwell Institute for the 2022 season.
In the past football season, Rand served as the Inside Linebacker Coach at Madison County High School in Danielsville, Georgia, helping to guide the team to an impressive 8-3 season. Madison County also hosted its first-ever playoff game, marking a historic milestone for the school.
Beyond the football field, Rand is an active member of New Anderson Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Riceboro, Georgia. He is committed to furthering his educational journey and is set to graduate in May with a Masters of Arts in Teaching from Georgia Southern University.
Coach Rand's dedication to both the athletic and academic development of his players makes him a valuable asset to any team fortunate enough to have him at the helm. With his upcoming season, Rand will be entering his 7th year of coaching, bringing with him a wealth of experience and expertise.
